DEFENSE
Norman will base out of a 3-4 this year. Also one of the team’s best returning defenders, Noles will lead one of 6A’s most promising secondaries. The safety caught three interceptions and broke up 10 passes last year in addition to 142 tackles and three tackles-for-loss. Jackson Ford (5-11, 170, Jr.), a fellow safety, saw action as a sophomore, recording 53 tackles and an interception.
At corner, Kurt Carter (5-8, 160, Sr.) brings back 40 tackles and a pick on his side of the field. Inside linebackers Behr Boyd (5-10, 195, Jr.) and Lance Eubanks (6-0, 200, Sr.) were dominant forces last season and will provide their services to the Tigers linebacking corps this year. Boyd made 107 total tackles last season, including eight sacks and 13 tackles for loss. Eubanks had 81 tackles. Nose guard CJ Moore (5-10, 285, Sr.) brings back 44 tackles.
